Every year, American Legion Boys State selects rising seniors from each state to be a part of their program and considers those students who illustrate leadership, character, scholarship, loyalty and service in their schools and communities.
This year, Immaculata High School, Somerville, had five students honored to serve as delegates for American Legion Jersey Boys State, held the week of June 18-23 on the campus of Rider University, Lawrenceville: Roscoe Davis, Alexander Dzanoucakis, Matthew Levanda, Jon Moreno and Andre Rivera, all members of the class of 2024.
ALJBS is a fictitious 51st state organized and administered for citizenship training purposes under the auspices of the American Legion, Department of New Jersey.
