Performance of works by varied composers scheduled

March 11, 7 p.m. – Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi, 548 Main Street, Metuchen. Cathedral Concerts at St. Francis is proud to present Brenda Arnold Day, organist. Day is a graduate of Westminster Choir College, Princeton, where she majored in Church Music. A very active organ recitalist and accompanist, Day studied with Donald McDonald, William Whitehead, Allan Birney, and Ruth Bittner. She is Organist Emerita of the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen, where she, for 39 years, was responsible for four singing choirs and five handbell choirs as well as a Lenten Concert Series. She will perform works of Bach, Mendelssohn, and music from the 20th and 21st centuries.  No tickets are required. H; however, a $20 donation is suggested.
